OUR TEAM

Mychal (pronounced Michael) and Nikki have been the lead pastors of Discovery since 2023. They, along with their four children returned to Prescott in the summer of 2021 to join the team at Discovery. Mychal and Nikki have been in ministry together since before they were married in 2014, serving in all areas of the church; including kids church, youth & young adults ministry as well as joining the launch team of a church plant in Flagstaff in 2017. They are excited to step into this new season of leading Discovery Church!

Mychal grew up in Prescott and after graduating from Prescott High School, Mychal joined an internship at a local church and attended Global University online. He graduated the internship as well as the Berean School of the Bible program at Global University in 2014.

Nikki grew up in Maryland and moved to Arizona to go to college. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2014 with a BA in psychology.

In their free time, Mychal, Nikki and their family enjoy spending time outdoors. Hiking, camping, gardening, swimming and water fights are among their favorite activities.
